“Prem Nath Mishra was hospitalised on Might 25 after he contracted Covid-19 and succumbed to the illness on Might 28. The body was handed over to relations as per the Covid-19 protocol. Within the video, which went viral on social media, it may be seen that the body was thrown into the Rapti river.”
He mentioned a case has been registered on the Kotwali police station in this regard.
Earlier in the month, a number of our bodies had been seen floating in the Ganga and Yamuna rivers in the state, triggering apprehensions that these had been of Covid-19 sufferers.
