Sanjay Dutt receives COVID-19 vaccine, congratulates medical team ‘for doing such a wonderful job’

Actor Sanjay Dutt on Tuesday shared that he has obtained the primary dose of coronavirus vaccine at a vaccination centre in Bandra Kurla Advanced, Mumbai. The 61-year-old actor took to Twitter to thank the medical workers, who gave him the vaccine. Alongside the tweet, Dutt posted a picture of himself receiving the dose. He may be seen smiling on the digicam.

“Acquired my first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine immediately on the BKC vaccine heart. I wish to congratulate Dr Dhere and his complete team for doing such a wonderful job! I’ve a lot love & respect for them & their arduous work. Jai Hind!” learn Sanjay Dutt’s tweet.

Dutt is the most recent movie movie star to have gotten vaccinated after Sharmila Tagore, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Kamal Haasan, Nagarjuna, Jeetendra, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Neena Gupta and Gajaraj Rao amongst others.

Final week, veteran star Dharmendra had tweeted a video of himself receiving the vaccine dose. Within the video, the actor stated that everyone ought to masks up and preserve social distancing. As a nurse offers him the coronavirus dose, the actor is heard saying within the clip, “I’m even taking this (vaccine). It needs to be given to girls and boys as properly.”
