ICC World Test Championship Final: Match officials revealed

The Worldwide Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday introduced the match officials for the ICC World Test Championship Closing which shall be performed between India and New Zealand in Southampton starting from June 18.

Chris Broad would be the match referees whereas Michael Gough and Richard Illingworth have been chosen because the on-field officials for the match.

Richard Kettleborough would be the TV umpire, and Alex Wharf would be the fourth official.

ICC Senior Supervisor – Umpires and Referees, Adrian Griffith mentioned: “We’re happy to announce an skilled crew of match officials for the ultimate of the World Test Championship.”

“It has not been a simple time with the pandemic, however we’re lucky to have a gaggle of officials on the prime of their area who’ve been constant through the years on this momentous fixture. We want all of them the easiest.”
